CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (Click here).

NOTICE:
Always use E10 "TORX" socket wrench when installing the front seat.



1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Seat Heater System)

  1. Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the wiring harness clamp.

  1. Install the wiring harness clamp.

  1. Install the buckle switch connector.



2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  1. Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

  1. Engage the wiring harness clamp.

  1. Install the wiring harness clamp.

  1. Install the buckle switch connector.

  1. Connect the seat heater connector.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

  1. Engage the 2 claws and clip, install the front seat cushion inner shield LH.

  1. Tighten the screw.

  1. Engage the hook.

  1. Install the clip.



4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD LH (w/o Vertical Adjuster)


  1. for Driver Side:

    1. Install the seat adjuster cover.



      2. B261525

    2. Engage the 5 claws and install the front seat cushion inner shield LH.

    3. Tighten the screw.



  1. for Front Passenger Side:

    1. Engage the 5 claws and install the front seat cushion inner shield LH.

    2. Tighten the screw.

    3. Install the snap ring to the reclining adjuster release handle LH, and install them onto the reclining hinge pin.



5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

NOTICE:
Follow the procedure described below in order to prevent the seat tracks from locking separately.

  1. Insert the 2 location pins through the 2 body holes, place the front seat in the most forward position and make sure that the inner and outer seat tracks are locked securely.

  1. Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, install bolt 1 and then bolt 2 onto the rear side.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Move the front seat to the most rearward position, and then make sure that the inner and outer seat tracks are securely locked.

  1. Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, install bolt 3 and then bolt 4 onto the rear side.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Make sure that the inner and outer seat tracks lock simultaneously after the seat is moved.

    HINT:
    If the inner and outer seat tracks do not lock simultaneously, loosen the bolts and adjust the seat tracks.

  1. Connect the airbag connector.

  1. Connect the buckle switch connector.

  1. Install the wiring harness clamps.



6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque:
5.4 N*m{ 55 kgf*cm , 48 in.*lbf }



7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

  1. Inspect the SRS warning light (Click here).
